DON'T ABANDON CORONA SCHOOL IDEALS, PRINCIPAL TELLS PUPILS

An educationist, Mrs. Adeyoyin Adesina, has urged graduating pupils of Corona Secondary School, Agbara, to remain good ambassadors of the institution.

Adesina, who is the principal of the school, stated this just as she noted that the institution was committed to delivering excellent education to its pupils.

She made this known during the school’s 2015 Prize-Giving Day, where outstanding pupils and members of staff were honoured.

According to her, the school exposes its pupils to issues that will enable them to contribute positively to the development of society.

Urging the graduating pupils to keep to the tenets of the school as they head for higher academic successes, Adesina noted that through proper training, they had been equipped to contribute further to human development.

The educationist, who said that many CSS graduates were in top class foreign universities, noted that it demonstrated that the school provided quality education.

Delivering the keynote address, the guest speaker, Mrs. Adesuwa Onyenokwe, advised the graduands to remain focused and diligent in all their endeavours.

These characteristics, Onyenokwe said, would make them better citizens and leaders.

She said, “Look forward to the days of freedom when you will be able to build upon all that you have learnt in Corona for the growth of our nation.”
