Dear Tiwa,
I have nothing but love for you, but after I watched all 45 mins or so of your interview, I am a bit disappointed.
Tiwa, I know it hurts when a relationship breaks down, and those accusations T Billz made were extremely hurtful, nonetheless, I believe you could have employed caution when responding, since according to you, he was unstable and suicidal. In law, if for instance, you walk in on your man in bed with another woman and you shoot him on the spot, you could get a lighter sentence, if your legal counsel argues provocation. On the flip side, if you walk out of the scene to get a gun and then launch an attack, it's now considered premeditated.
The fact that you granted a 'pitch perfect' interview, with a flawless visual background and superb audio quality, in my opinion looks a bit premeditated.
If you had denied all his accusations and asked to swear on ayelala or amadioha or sango as against the lie detector test, since on no instance has a polygraph ever been used in Nigeria, and if afterwards you had requested for privacy, as you deal with such a sensitive issue, this matter would have been laid to rest. How are you going to tell Nigerians not to talk about issues you 'used your own hand' to make public? This could only serve to further delay your healing.
Even though my prayer is for your issues to be resolved and for joy to return to your home, the breakdown of a marriage is not the end of the world, I have been through it and my world did not end. However, do you realize that the interview you gave could lead to the end of TJ's world? Who is now going to hire, work with, or have any business dealings with an unstable, adulterous, fraudulent, cocaine sniffer who cannot manage money and has his priorities misplaced? Whether you like it or not, that is what the interview has delineated him to be. In furtherance to this, if he was suicidal before, this interview is only going to make him even more suicidal!
I know you both love Jamil so in all this drama, lets be very careful to shield him, as the Internet never forgets and his friends and classmates will always have his father's tweets along with your interview as points of reference.
Arsenal and Super Falcons player Asisat Oshoala: I want to be an inspiration to others
Only 21, and already an idol herself for younger generations of female football players in Africa. Arsenal ladies and Super Falcons attacker Asisat Oshoala spoke to FIFA explaining how she developed from playing six-a-side football with boys in Ikorodu to donning the jersey of Liverpool football club and then Arsenal Football club. Excerpts after the cut....
“When I was in school I used to play football with boys,” Oshoala told FIFA.com. “I was in this six-a-side team. The boys always used to say to me: 'Don’t go to the front, just stay at the back. Just kick the balls out. You can’t score goals. You can’t dribble past defenders.'
"And then the day came where we made it to a final. I dribbled two or three players and scored a goal. 1-0. End of the game. I remember saying to them, 'Look at that. You don’t believe in me but look at what I can do.”
“When you have this determination, and people see this determination in you, eventually they have no choice but to give you the support you need to get you where you want to go,” explained the Arsenal Ladies player.
“I didn’t think I was even going to get to pass the ball at the U-20 (Japan u-20 Female World cup tournament) because I was so young,” said the midfielder. “I thought I was just making up the numbers.”
Oshoala came on as a substitute in the 76th minute of Nigeria’s opener against Korea Republic. Her performance for those final 14 minutes was so impressive that she started every subsequent match at the tournament, helping Nigeria get to the semi-finals.
“Then and there I learnt that when given an opportunity, you give it your best,” she said. “You might not see them, but someone is always watching. It was a great lesson for me. It’s something I’ve carried from Japan into every match I play now.”
“Canada was a massive one for me,” she said. “I wanted to do better. I wanted people to come not only watch my team, but I wanted them to come watch the girl who is determined, the girl who is always ready to give her best.”
Perhaps one of the most important moments took place against England in their final group stage game of Canada 2014. Locked at 1-1, England’s Bethany Mead missed a penalty in the 53rd minute. Just six minutes later, Oshoala was brought down in the box and given the same chance to snatch the lead.
“It was a crucial penalty for the team,” she said. “We had to score. We had to win the game to qualify for the next round. It wasn’t planned that I take it. We had a penalty taker, but I could see that she was scared. I walked up to her and said, 'I’ll take it for you.'
"I wanted the challenge, I remember thinking, ‘I’m the old player in the team, I’m the one that played at the previous U-20, I should be able to step up and do it for my team.”
“The Women’s World Cup was something completely different," Oshoala recalled. "I’d never experienced playing for such big crowds. I remember having to reprimand myself a few times.
"I kept having to remind myself to not go onto the pitch and just start looking at my idols and not play football. I kept refocusing on this thought, ‘I’m going to go there and play the game I have inside me.'”
“I want to be an inspiration to others,” she said. “So whenever I’m given the opportunity to represent my country I have to give my best.” She told FIFA.com
RRS arrest NURTW leader who trade in phones stolen from robbery and kidnap victims
Rapid Response Squad (RRS) operatives have arrested a National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) leader, for allegedly buying over 4,256 stolen phones, The Nation reports.
The suspect identified as Kazeem Bamidele aka Elewure, vice chairman of Ajegunle NURTW, reportedly told the RRS that he gets over 38 "clean" phones every week from over 52 persons, who specialise in pick pocketing and one-chance operations across the state.
According to The Nation, the 42-year-old suspect was traced to his shop at Boundary Market in Ajegunle and arrested after RRS Intelligence team caught two people using stolen phones in Kogi State.
The two suspects were arrested in connection with a kidnapping and robbery in Lagos. It was gathered that Elewure sold two Blackberry Z10 and CAT phones the suspects stole from their victims. Five phones were recovered from him.
Elewure was quoted by RRS as saying: "I have over 52 boys who sell clean stolen mobile phones to me. On the average, I receive 38 ‘clean’ phones in a week. I have been in the business for more than two years. Boundary Market in Ajegunle, where I have office and shop, is where they sell the phones to me and that is where the buyers equally get them. I know they are stolen phones. Nearly every guy in Ajegunle is involved in this kind of runs. I buy Infinix Hot 2 at N10,000 and sell N12,000; Blackberry Z30 at N20,000 and sell at N22,000; Infinix Hot Note at N15,000 and sell at N17,000 and Samsung Galaxy X3 at N11,000 and sell at N14,000. I don’t buy iPhone because of its locking system.
RRS further disclosed that some of the phones traced to Elewure were that of high profile members of the society, including celebrities and he had provide information that would lead to the arrest of his boys, who mostly lodge in hotels
Police spokesperson, Dolapo Badmos, a Superintendent (SP), said investigation is ongoingadding that the case, has been transferred to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS)

"Aisha was born healthy and was baby friendly fed. She was not only cute but grew normally until she started taking other foods. She was always feeling hot, weak and thirsty.
She was admitted for fever and diarrhoea on wednesday afternoon and after all attempts to heal her, we lost her to juvenile diabetes midnight Friday.
All praise is due to Allah. But who could have thought an 11 month old baby will die of diabetes.
All the signs were there!!!
She is only active in cool places like when the AC is on. She was never too active and always prefers lying down. She could drink a whole satchet of pure water at one go.
Moral of this note:
Mothers should not take the above symptoms for granted. They should watch out for differences between their child's development before and after the introduction of foods. Aisha is an example that shows EVEN babies can have hyperglycemia.
